COP30, held in Belém, Brazil in November 2025, marks a pivotal moment in global climate action as it shifts focus from negotiating commitments to delivering concrete results. Dubbed the “Amazon COP,” it emphasizes the critical role of the Amazon rainforest in climate sustainability and launches the Belém Declaration for Green Industrialization to accelerate energy transition and foster a green economy worldwide.
This year’s conference, held in our hometown, presents a unique opportunity to show that sustainability starts at the very core of the planet — the Amazon rainforest.
